Cochlear Implant Compatibility
All Hearo Kids hats are designed with our signature elastic strap and slit system, making them compatible with all behind-the-ear (BTE) cochlear implant processors, including Cochlear, Advanced Bionics (AB), and MED-EL devices.
The system securely holds the processor on the outside of the hat, while the coil passes through a discreet slit to the inside of the hat, allowing it to connect seamlessly with the internal receiver. This design helps keep the processor secure, comfortable, and properly positioned during everyday wear.

Set Up Guide

Step 1
Fix the processors on the outside of the hat using the elastic straps to hold them in place.

Thread the coil magnets through the embroidered slits in the hat so they are on the inside of the hat.

Step 3
Place the hat on your child's head. The coil magnets usually connect to the internal receivers naturally. If not, gently reposition the coil until it connects.

Step 4
Use the hat's adjustable strap (snapback) or toggle (bucket, chapka) to ensure a snug, comfortable fit.
